some headcanons about dove's wings.

❝ - dove's wings come from her combined quirk 'uplifted wings'. the 'uplift' part from her mother's 'uplift' quirk and the 'wings' part coming from her father's 'sacred wings' quirk.

❝ - her wings along with her quirk came in at age six. due to being a late bloomer, dove was teased a lot of the time at elementary school back in the states since most of the kids had already had theirs.

❝ - she constantly hates her wings being compared to hawks's. sure, they might look similar but hers are much much smaller and she can't make blades with the larger feathers. nor does she have his tracking ability.

❝ - something she can't stand is people casually touching them without asking. they are highly sensitive.

❝ - just like most people with feather based quirks, dove also has to preen. since she can't get to the back of them, she often has to visit a place within the hpsc that takes care of that for her - almost like a salon for feathers. although after she left the organisation, she attempts to do it herself.

❝ - dove will shed feathers from her wings without thinking if she feels severely stressed or upset. it was something she found out very early on in her childhood.
