About me: The princess had gone missing, stolen from her cradle after the murder of her parents. Hidden from the world, Freyla had been locked away beneath the home of the man who kidnapped her. Far from town, far from any curious eyes. Brin had worked for the king, a once respectable and loyal man. Though he was offered a deal, a deal to kill the king and queen and sell the infant daughter. Brin going through with the deal, found the other party being ambushed moments before Brin had arrived. He watched from the shadows, knowing it was too dangerous. With the plan ruined, Brin took Freyla back home where he raised her. Brin blamed Freyla for all his troubles, blaming her for his life of solitude, blaming her for his lack of wealth. To Brin, any small or large inconvenience was Freyla's fault.
Freyla spent her life in fear and in pain, being at the end of Brins fists constantly. She suffered great abuse and neglect from Brin, being so malnourished she was assumed to be much younger than she actually was.
At the age of fourteen, Freyla had gathered enough courage to fight back against Brin. She managed to wound him,ย staggering him. This gave Freyla enough time to run away, though he soon followed after her. Though she was badly injured, Freyla ran into the woods. Desperate to escape, Desperate to live. Freyla ran until she unknowingly entered one of the elf realms, where she was soon saved and taken in by the elves.
