Ino Yamanaka

During her years at the academy she helped another student out with her self-esteem. Being one of the more popular girls in the academy, Ino was able to help Sakura Haruno with her bullies and chase them away (sometimes literally) from her. One day she found her crying because she was being made fun of because of her large forehead and she had her hair down, commenting that it looked "more like a sheep-dog than a person and that she should come back the next day and she had a present for her" she returned the next day with a red ribbon and tied her hair up in a stylish and cute way for Sakura.
Ino and Sakura became best friends after that. However, she became heartbroken when Sakura decided that they were rivals after discovering she liked the same boy. After that they argued non-stop over Sasuke who was oblivious to their fighting over him. He couldn't have cared less what they were arguing about and only wanted to get stronger so he could defeat his brother.
Eventually Ino would give up on finding Sasuke and would move on to marry Sai and have a child named Inojin in the Boruto series. She is a young woman and a very beautiful woman at that. She has long blonde hair and crystal clear blue eyes with fair skin and with everyone asking her on dates it was hard not to become conceited or arrogant. She had a lot of confidence despite Sakura making fun of her and calling her ugly.
the present
At present, Ino is working at the Konoha clinic with Lady Tsunade and Sakura Haruno. She has a son named Inojin Yamanaka and her husband is Sai Yamanaka. Sai asked her to marry her and mentioned she was beautiful the first time they met in person. Ino had changed drastically over the shippuden "time-skip" when the characters had changed appearances and were a bit older than the pre-shippuden era.
Ino is somewhat less caddy and more patient with her friends but extremely protective of Sai and Inojin respectively, knowing that she would be in intense pain if she lost them. She lost Shizune in the fourth shinobi world war, and that had a huge impact on all the characters of Naruto. Ino is brutally honest when it comes to her opinion about things. She does not like "sugar-coating" or "gas-lighting" other people, and she certainly doesn't like it being done to her so she doesn't do it to others (or at least she tries not to).
Ino's role in the village is a Jonin level shinobi where she can go on more dangerous missions without guarantee that she would return from the mission and she would always tell Inojin that she "loved him more than air." and kiss him on the forehead. She would then leave for the mission and continue her duty to the village. She continues as a kunoichi in training as a Jonin this time and continues training to become better than Sakura.
Even though they are no longer rivals and are best friends again, Sakura is someone she really leans on if she needs emotional support as friends and they will often go out shopping with one another despite their past issues with Sasuke. Sakura eventually married Sasuke and had a daughter named Sarada with him. Sarada wears glasses and at first was confused why she needed them and wondered if Sakura was really her mother, and Sasuke was really her father. She questioned her position in the family and Sakura assured her that Sasuke loved them both very much. Ino and Sai did the same with Inojin when they went on missions and left him with his friends when he was able to care for himself.
