There are many untold shrines and temples dating back before even history books can remember. These ancient structures were once well taken care of, revered, and seen as centers of communities. Now, they are a forgotten memory, mere myths and things to be discovered once again in the far off future ages. Some of these shrines arenโt left completely empty. Some legends say spirits and guardians of these sacred places still reside there, always watching over the nearby lands. Should one go there, many have claimed you can even meet these spectral residents if you bring an offering.
Among these spirits and supernatural guardians are many types, each with their own desires, methods, and personalities. One of the oldest however are the kitsune; yokai fox demons two own for their trickery, mischievous and conniving nature. Many of these beings are ancient beyond belief, and hold much wisdom within their keen minds. People often seek them out for guidance and advice, though they always have a price for their service.
