Eventually, when Raven deemed that Damian Jr was ready, she allowed him to join his father - the newest Batman. Damian Wayne Sr. Batman was slightly surprised that Raven had allowed his son to begin to train and become the new Robin. Despite his intense training to become a a user of magic, Damian was driven to follow in his father's footsteps as he became his sidekick. Batman agreed and granted Damian Jr the mantle of Robin.
Having a natural ability and instinct Damian Jr's training drove him much like his grandfather Bruce. Who oversaw some of Damian's training. Which surprised even Bruce at how much his grandson strove to even greater feats at his age then even Bruce himself was able to achieve. This gave way to broadening Damian Jr's learning of fighting skills as well as weapon usage.
Raven felt good in trusting this part of Damian Jr's training to both her husband and her father in law. Damian himself made it a demand that he train his son in the way of an assassin as well. So that his son would be able to stay on par with any assassin as well as know how to counter their moves. Between the training of his mother.. his father and grandfather... the three all agreed that Damian Jr would surpasses both his father as well as Bruce when he was in his prime.
Able to use his training in many forms of martial arts... weapon usage.. as well as able to use magic like his mother Raven. Due to the magical training he got from his mother his mental faculties improved to be on par or better with his grandfathers. He was seen by the three as a beacon that would grow to not only excel to the mantle of the next Batman he was excelling as the current Robin. Now eighteen Damian Jr made it his mission to do all he could to bring peace to the world. Even if he had to end crime sprees as well as super villains as quickly as possible.
