Background Story
Louvel Rivers, known some as "Lou", was born in a quiet French town in 2005. He's a half-human, half-wolf hybrid--due to a strange phenomena of a curse on his family, which made him stand out in the community. While the townsfolk were accepting, Lou always felt a sense of solitude due to his unique nature.
At 18, in 2023, he decided to leave his parents and venture to New York City in search of a place where he truly belonged, away from his birthplace.
The busy city dazzled Lou, but amidst its bustling streets, he struggled to find his niche. Some frightened by him, others chasing him for experimentation. His different experiences and instincts made it challenging to connect with people, and he often felt like an outsider, often finding unique ways to cover his ears with large beanies or stuffing his tail into the back of a tight hoodie. It was most often very uncomfortable.
Lou's connection to nature naturally with his wolf instincts led him to engage in local environmental initiatives. During one of his endeavors, he witnessed a group of people callously disregard the harm they were causing to a natural habitat. This event left him feeling further disheartened and slightly more distrusting of humans and their treatment of the environment.
As the years passed, Lou found himself spending more time alone, seeking solace in the quieter corners of the city. He became cautious about forming close relationships, fearing that his unique identity would drive people away.
Despite his loneliness and distrust, Lou remained determined to make a positive impact on the world. His journey as a half-human, half-wolf hybrid in the big city might have been challenging, but he embraced it with resilience and a quiet strength, finding solace in the company of nature and the few genuine connections he made along the way. The event that had left him slightly more distrusting of humans served as a reminder of the delicate balance he needed to maintain between his desire to protect and his need for self-preservation.
