About me: Hayate (Japanese: 疾風) is a shinobi and the eighteenth master of the Mugen Tenshin clan. He is the eldest and only son of Shiden and Ayame, making him Kasumi's older brother, Ayane's older half-brother and cousin, and Honoka's cousin. He is also friends and allies with Ryu Hayabusa.
Although he was first mentioned in the first Dead or Alive in 1996, Hayate's official debut appearance was in the 1999 title Dead or Alive 2 as Ein; an amnesiac karateka. He regained his memory during the second game and finally appeared as himself in 2001 for Dead or Alive 3 as a main character and has become one of the main protagonists of Dead or Alive ever since. The 18th leader of the Mugen Tenshin clan, Kasumi's older brother, and a good friend and rival of Ryu Hayabusa. After suffering a defeat from Raidou, he was made into an experiment subject in a DOATEC laboratory and had temporarily lost his memories. After being discovered by Hitomi, he became known as Ein and joined the 2nd DOA Tournament, where he was able to rediscover his own self. Hayate swore to repay DOATEC for everything that was done to him and his family. He is concerned about Kasumi, and currently follows in the tracks of a tattooed man, who he thinks will bring him closer to finding Donovan. Worthy of the nickname "Shinobi of the Wind", his moves are as quick and powerful as a strike of lightning. His hobbies are quickdraw of the sword and zen meditation.
