About me: The ultimate programmer, Chihiro! When hes not played in usual danganronpa setting, he will be college age and be traveling, mostly for flexibility. Regaurdless of setting, hes a young genuis who seems to have a way with numbers.
Chihiro has a long history of being bullied, being told that hes "Too weak to be a boy" and always being told to "man up". This caused him to develop a inferiority complex, starting his bad habbit of beating himself up for being so weak- he always sees himself as inferior to everyone else, to the point that he has a hard time accepting any form of compliments. As a direct result of this, he started to wear womans clothing and presenting himself as female, in hopes that the bullying would stop. This was not addressing the root of the problem and only worsened his inferiority complex, just strengthening the idea in his head that hes not worthy to be a man. He keeps the fact that he is a male a close gaurded secret, his manhood being a touchy subject around him- addressing the fact that hes a boy is like navigating around a maze.
Since he was too weak to play outside, he was often just on the computer indoors, almost indefinitely. His father, Taichi Fujisaki, was a software engineer that developed many major computer programs, and while using his computer Chihiro found an incomplete information retrieval system that utilized voice input. This led to him creating his own modifications to it, and he soon realized that he could write programs by himself. Chihiro's father praised him for his work and, as he finally found something he could take pride in, he became absorbed in programming.
As a teen genius, Chihiro became famous for creating cutting-edge programs, to the point that he started developing top-secret AI programs for an unnamed company. As Makoto points out, due to having a "timid little bunny type thing going", Chihiro gained a legion of fans.
